If systemic racism exists, we have a lot of work to do. If it doesn’t, then all these protests are wrong when they claim it does.

If it exists, and it does, then we have to put forth actual effort to identify policies that need to be changed.

The Biden Administration needs to put forth actual effort. Newly elected state officials need to put forth actual effort as do mayors and city councils.

Systemic racism is not just a thing of the past. It’s happening right now. And we can’t just pretend those negative effects away, no matter how politically or ideologically convenient that might be.
